Born in Louisville, KY., he came to Brevard County in 1996 from Charleston, SC.
Retired from the US Navy, Robert worked as a CPO Hull Tech. He is a veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of both the American Legion and the Masons.
He is survived by his wife, Regina, of 50 years; daughters, Deborah Stokes and Patricia DeVries (Jason); grandchildren, Kayla, Naomi, and Richard; brothers, Fred, James and Dennis; sister, Mary Evelyn Connor; 1 fur baby and 4 fur grand-babies. He is preceded in death by his father, Marvin Brunner, mother, Evelyn Balis, step father, L. Robert Balis and his brothers, Marvin and Leroy.
A Celebration of Life for Robert will be held August 17, 2019 at 11:00am at the Beacon Baptist Church, 3186 Aurora Rd, Melbourne, FL.
