Ron passed away at home on August 18, 2019 at the age of 94. He was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Hershey, where he met and married the love of his life, Bertha Barbini. He graduated from Penn State and Ohio State Universities with degrees in mathematics, chemistry, and nuclear physics. Ron began his 33 years in the United States Air Force as a pilot. After his retirement from active duty he worked at the Kennedy Space Center and after a second retirement, enjoyed traveling and cruising, visiting every state capital, and seeing many countries. Whenever we are humble, trustworthy, generous, kind, and funny . . . It’s because of him.
