The Lord called Ruth A. Clifford to be him on October 4, 2024, she was 101. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Howard J. Clifford and her son, Rodney J. Clifford. She is survived by her daughter, Luella C. Crane of Hermon, Maine, son Russell G. Clifford of Palm Bay, Florida, and William J. Witherell of Wales, Maine who she always considered as her third son.
Ruth is survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Ruth was an active member of the West Melbourne Baptist Church and especially enjoyed the Patchwork of Grace Quilting group. Ruth was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. She spent many hours sewing stuffed animals for children that found themselves in traumatic situations. Ruth also knit hundreds of warm hats for soldiers in cold climates.
Ruth will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
A graveside service for Ruth will be held Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, Florida.
