Ruth H. Willis, age 97, of Melbourne FL, passed away Tuesday, July 6, 2021. She was born October 5, 1923 in Boston, Massachusetts to parents Walter J. and Eliza A. Hogbin. She is preceded in death by her husband Silas L. Willis, her parents, and 1 brother. She is survived by daughter Alison Bruce and husband Mark, and son Craig and wife Sharon, sons Scott and Keith Willis, and 3 grandchildren. Ruth attended Becker College in Worchester, Massachusetts. During World War II she worked for the US Marine Corps in Washington DC, and later for Connecticut General Insurance Co. in Burlington VT. She was primarily a homemaker and had lived continuously in the Melbourne area since 1988.
Interment will be at 11:00 am Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge FL.
