

Sandra was born on January 16, 1949, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Throughout her life, she found countless ways to serve and care for others. She was an OB Registered Nurse, a devoted military wife, a Sunday School teacher, a homemaker, and a faithful servant to her church, family, friends, and neighbors. Caring for others came naturally to Sandra. She had a generous heart, a helping spirit, and a gift for making people feel loved and cared for.
Sandra had a love for plants and flowers and became a Master Gardener later in life. She delighted in God’s creation and found joy in nurturing and cultivating plants. Her garden was a reflection of the care and love she poured into so many things throughout her life.
Above all, Sandra loved Jesus. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she lived each day seeking to serve Him and others. She was a devoted prayer warrior, faithfully praying for her family, friends, and countless others. Her relationship with the Lord was evident not only in her words, but in the way she loved, served, encouraged, and cared for those around her.
Sandra is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Larry Kelly; her children, Brian Kelly and his wife, Christy, and Jennifer Kelly; her beloved grandchildren, Jared Wright, Joshua Wright, and Kira McMullen; and her siblings, Michael Masingill, Kay White and Carl Masingill. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bentley and Bettie Masingill.
Sandra will be remembered for her unwavering love for Jesus, her kind and compassionate heart, her wonderful sense of humor, and the genuine love she showed to everyone she encountered. Her faith, compassion, and selfless love touched countless lives, leaving an impact that will continue through the many people she loved and served.
She has finished her earthly journey and has received the promise she trusted in throughout her life. Sandra is now home with her Lord and Savior, where there is no more pain, no more suffering, and no more tears.
