Sandi was born February 27, 1940 to Wesley C. Carver and India B. Harris Carver in Littleton, NC. She was the third of seven children growing up on her grandparents' farm. She married at 16 and moved to FL.
After her divorce at age 36 she got her GED and started college. She majored in computer programing and was on the Dean's List every semester. She retired from Brevard County School Board.
She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family. She is predeceased by her parents, both husbands; her son, Kenneth Castro; her brothers, Bill Carver and Tommy Carver, and her sister, Gail Carver Leger. She is survived by her children Phyllis McCarthy (Jerry), Linda Ake (Jeff), Glenn Castro (Shelley), Dale Castro (Tammy), John Castro (Pam), eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Glenn Carver of Wilmington, NC, her sister Dorothy Thomas of Palm Bay and her brother Jon Carver of Hudson, FL.
