He resided in Rockledge Florida, and was born in Mayari Oriente, Cuba. He practiced as a physician for over 60 years and was well into his 80's before he retired.
He is survived by his wife, Kay E. Leyte-Vidal, with whom he shared 43 years of marriage. He has 5 children: Lourdes Caruso, Santiago M. Leyte-Vidal, M.D., Kathy Easter, Suzanne Ramsey, and James Leyte-Vidal. He has 12 living grandchildren and one grandchild who has passed away. He also has one great-grandchild.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:00 pm in Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL.
