November 10, 1956 – July 31, 2026
Scott Sievers, 70, passed away on July 31, 2026. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Scott will be remembered for his kind heart, gentle nature, sense of humor, and the love he had for his family and life on the water.
Scott was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, where he attended North Central High School, graduating in 1974. He later attended ITT Technical Institute, where he studied Computer Science.
Following his education, Scott began a long and successful career in the technology industry with Intel. During his career, he covered the state of Indiana for Intel before the division he worked for was sold to Prime Computer. Scott continued his career through subsequent changes in ownership, building a reputation through the years for his knowledge, dedication, and strong work ethic.
After spending much of his life in Indianapolis, Scott eventually traded Indiana winters for the Florida sunshine and made Cocoa, Florida, his home more than 20 years ago. He found a community he loved at Oleander Pointe, where Scott was able to enjoy many of the things that made him happiest.
An avid golfer and proud boat captain, Scott loved being on the water. Whether he was boating, fishing, golfing, or simply enjoying life at home, he appreciated the good things in life, especially when they were shared with the people he loved.
Those who knew Scott knew him as a true gentle giant. He was kind, caring, silly, and always capable of bringing laughter to the people around him. Beneath his larger-than-life presence was a genuinely gentle heart. Some of his greatest joy came from spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren and creating memories with the people who meant the most to him.
Scott is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Sievers; his daughter, Stephanie Mix; his stepchildren, Jordan Grim, TJ McLaughlin, and Halee McLaughlin; and his five grandchildren, who brought tremendous happiness to his life.
Scott built a life filled with family, laughter, hard work, days on the water, rounds of golf, and more than a few fishing stories. His family will remember his silliness, his kindness, his gentle spirit, and most of all, the love he gave them.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
