Sheila Dutton

Sheila Ellen Dutton, beloved wife, mother, mawmaw, sister, aunt and best friend, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025 at her home in Cocoa, Florida. She was 64 years old. Born on December 24, 1960, in Charlotte, NC, to Monroe and Margret Brown. Step father of 50 years, John Pop Watts.

Sheila has a passion for Healthcare and worked at Tyco Medical in Cocoa for many years, and pursued her passion as a CNA at Wuesthoff Hospital in Rockledge, Florida and continuing on to do home health care for many years.

Sheila was loved by all kids growing up and quickly became known as the neighborhood Mom. She was loved by all that knew her and always put everyone's needs above hers.

She has spent the last 50 years with the love of her life, Robert Dutton. Their marriage was filled with adventure, laughter and unwavering devotion. Together they raised two children: Joseph Dutton of Cocoa and Bobby Dutton also of Cocoa.

She is survived by her husband Robert Lee Dutton and her two children, Joey and Bobby: two sisters, Bonnie Fay Fischer and Emma Jean Brown. Seven grandchildren: Punkin, Trevor, Auston, Kearsten, Alissa, Johnny and Jordan: Three great-grandchildren: Alaiyha, Maverick and Grayson, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Friday, January 10th at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge. Viewing from 11am to 1pm. Service to start immediately after then graveside.
