OBITUARY
Sophie L. Agiato
May 12, 1928 – January 9, 2021
Sophie started her life career in Brooklyn, N.Y. May 12, 1928, learning in the city streets, public schools, and Washington Irving Business School, graduating in 1946.
She met her life mate, John Agiato during her friendship with his sister Fran. They married in 1948 and subsequently journeyed throughout the United States while John succeeded in his Air Force career. Their journey soon brought them to Brevard in 1971. John continued his military duties while Sophie expanded her social skills while working as a sales associate at Melbourne Mall. After moving to her home in Indialantic, Sophie was introduced to the society of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
This move enabled Sophie to exhibit her charm and grace while enjoying the social scene. Sophie moved to Victoria Landing to appreciate the benefits of assisted living. Here, as with all of her geographical stops, she again enjoyed a quality life style. She indeed liked first class in dress, food, and people.

I worked with Sophia and carpooled with her in the early 1970's. She and I both worked for Boeing Airplane Company at the time.
Cecil and John played Racket Ball on a regular basis.
Sophie was a beauty both inside and out. We have many fond memories of both Sophie and John.

Sophie was my dear friend and sorority sister for 21 years. We share a wonderful bond of friendship spending many lunches and dinners and gatherings together. The annual Christmas party at her home were our favorite. She lived a good happy life with a beautiful smile and enthusiasm. Will miss her in my life. 💕
