He was the son of the late Stephen Ralph and Felicitas Violet Spatenga. Stephen worked as a boat mechanic, was a member of the National Guard, and loved spending time with his family on the boat, at the beach, woodworking, and sailing.
Survivors include his wife: Marion J. Spatenga; his daughter and son-in-law Lori E. and Randy M. Newman; his son and daughter-in-law: Stephen T. and Tracey Spatenga; his brother; Hugo Spatenga his grandchildren: Jacob, Stephen, Michael, William, Katelyn, Christopher, and Mendell; and his great grandchildren: Nova, Jacob, and Stephen.
