She was preceded in death are her father, Walter H. Connor, her brother James R. Connor, her niece Aubrie N. Alcott, and her beloved shih-tzu, Heidi.
Sue is survived by her mother, Glada A. Connor, her brothers William E. Connor (Barbara) of Kerrville, Texas, David L. Connor of Manhattan, Kansas, Jonathan M. Connor of Melbourne, Florida and sister, Cynthia L Aho (George) of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived by nine nieces and nephews and nine grand nieces and nephews.
A graduate of the University of Pittsburgh in Business Education, Sue taught at Maplewood Jr./Sr. High School in Guys Mills, Pennsylvania for over 30 years. She began her career teaching typing and shorthand and was forefront in teaching her students the latest technology in the business environment. Throughout her years of teaching, she was involved with extracurricular activities such as Business Week, Prom and many others.
The love of her life, was her Shih-tzu, Heidi, who spent many hours on her lap as Sue read through the library of books she had collected for her retirement. Sue’s other hobbies included cruising, watching tennis, ice skating and dog shows.
Services will be held at Florida Memorial Gardens Life Event Center, 5950 US 1, Rockledge, Florida 32955 on Friday, September 23, 2022. Viewing at 11:00 a.m. followed by Funeral at 12 p.m.
