Sue Ellen Crabtree 87 of Merritt Island, FL passed away peacefully in her sleep in Viera, FL on December 5, 2020. Sue was born in Tucson, AZ on May 30, 1933. She attended the University of Arizona & the University of Central Florida obtaining her Masters of Education degree.

Sue married Lester, and together they had two sons, Mark & Walter Crabtree. She worked as a teacher for many years in Brevard County. Sue was also a proud member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority & the Brevard Museum Guild. Sue is survived by Lester L Crabtree her husband of 65 years, sons Mark Crabtree(Katie) & Walter Crabtree(Connie), grandchildren Amanda Sue Crabtree, Branden Crabtree(Kristina), Jessica Crabtree, great-grandchildren Wyatt, Caden, Khloe Crabtree, brothers James Markins & Richard Markins and was predeceased by her mother and father Gladys & Chester Markins, siblings Gordon Markins, Jerry Markins, Joanna Romero.

Memorial services will be held at 1st Baptist Church in the Chapel 140 Magnolia Ave, Merritt Island, FL on January 16, 2021. Viewing begins at 1pm, service at 2pm followed by brief reception. Interment to follow reception at Florida Memorial Gardens 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL.
