Sylvia D. Dixon

Sylvia D. Dixon, 82, of Melbourne, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, at Saint Francis Hospice. A devoted wife, loving mother, and cherished grandmother, Sylvia will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Sylvia later lived in Georgia and New Jersey before making Brevard County her home in 2000. She was a retired homemaker whose warmth, wit, and charm left a lasting impression on everyone she met.

Sylvia is survived by her beloved husband, Alan Dixon; her sons, Steven Price and Eric C. Price; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren—with more on the way. Her legacy of love and faith continues to live on through her family.

Sylvia was a consummate Christian believer whose life reflected grace, kindness, and unwavering faith. She took every opportunity to be a witness to God’s love and remained steadfast in her beliefs throughout her life.

Her interment will take place on July 3, 2025. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Christian Broadcasting Network, an organization close to her heart.

A committal service for Sylvia will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at Florida Memorial Gardens, 5950 US-1, Rockledge, FL 32955.
