Roger was born to the late Joseph and Dorothy Vickery and grew up in Miami, FL., one of six children. He graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in physics. He was an engineer for IBM, where he worked for nearly 20 years.
He is survived by his sisters, Valin Mitchell and Vicki Gard; his brother ,Bruce Vickery; his children, Adam Vickery, Lance Vickery, and Becca Butler; and his grandchildren, Ryan Vickery, Christina Barrera, Hunter Butler, Robby Vickery, Caitlin Barrera, Nicholas Vickery, and Steven Barrera.
Roger was a wonderful father and many will miss him.
