Vincent "Vinny" Furfaro

Our hearts are broken to share that Vincent (Vinny) Furfaro passed from this life at Viera Hospital on December 1, 2024 at the age of 92, with his children by his side. Vinny will be remembered lovingly by his family and friends as a kind, strong, humble, gentle man who loved deeply, and was always there for others. Beloved father to Donna Furfaro, of Viera, FL, and Frank Furfaro of Lewistown, PA, Vinny was predeceased by his loving wife, Virginia, and his parents Francesco (Frank) and Rosina Furfaro. Vincent was born on February 3, 1932 in North Bergen NJ. He attended Union Hill High School and worked for APA Transport. He moved his family to Mountainhome, PA in The Poconos, where he eventually became the Executive Chef of Caesar’s Paradise Stream Resort. Upon retirement, and over with shoveling snow, he and his wife moved to Florida, eventually settling in Viera. He was an avid sports enthusiast all his life, excelling in baseball and football. Vinny was a lifelong fan of the New York sports teams, Yankees, Giants and Rangers. He loved to garden, and was a Veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U.S. Army. A devoted family man, Vinny was extremely proud of his wife, his children and their accomplishments.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service for Vinny at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial Gardens (5950 S. US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL 32955) on Thursday, December 12th at 1:00 p.m. Guests will be received starting at 12:30 p.m. Inurnment will follow immediately at Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
