She was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend C.S. Vernon. Her survivors are their two sons, Clowers Samuel III ("Butch") of Satellite Beach and Terence Craig (Terry) of Stuart.
She was a wonderful and loving homemaker and mother.
Vivian is remembered as a generous and gracious friend and neighbor. It was her special joy to teach Sunday School to 3-year-old children and sing in her church choir. She was a loving caretaker of her mother and mother-in-law in her home for many years. She was very special.
Visitation will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 2, and services at 11 a.m. at Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Building Fund of South Patrick Baptist Church.
