He was a really GREAT MAN. He spent so much of his time helping to shape and mold several of us into the people we are today. He had great patience, in allowing us to be ourselves but still expecting us to do our best and be our best. So much of his personal time was spent with us at Rifle practice, Color Guard and Drill team practice, competitions and Military Balls. Friday PT was flag football days, and he got out there with every class (6 Periods) and played as hard as we did. JROTC didn't seem like job to him,....he put everything he was into his job....hard work, dedication, and a HUGE sense of humor. We all loved Mrs. Gallup too. She was so sweet to us, when we all came over for pool parties at the end of competition season every summer. Thank you Beverly for sharing Col with us. We loved him greatly as he was like a 2nd dad to many of us.

I had the privilege of being educated by Col. Gallup at CBHS. It was Walter and others at CBHS that made a difference in my life as I am sure so many others.
