Wanless Lorenza Damron

Wanless Lorenza Damron 93, of Rockledge Fl, formerly of Broadbottom, Pike Co Ky passed away on March 10, 2025. Wanless was born to Della Lowe and Alexander (Bear) Damron on August 3, 1931 at Justell, Floyd Co Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his wife Helen Brownfield Rudy Damron, Sisters Eloise Weeden, Judith Koscher, Gail Gooding Stewart, Brothers Alex Damron Jr, Daughter Kathy Mott Franze, Grandson Michael (Melissa) Mott, Granddaughter Lauren Mott.

Wanless is survived by Sisters Glena Faye Spears, Carol Sims, Lavern (Jim) Swiggar, Brothers Gene Damron, Daughter Deborah (Martin) Gutaski, Carol (Tyson) Hughes; Sons Allen Rudy, Steven Damron, Chris (Letitia) Damron; twelve grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

He retired from the Air Force after 20 years of serving his country and worked for Wooten Ford from 1978-1996.

Wanless was a follower of Jesus Christ and lived his life in the love, grace and peace of God. He was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church of Merritt Island. He enjoyed music, singing, doing sudoku, and spending time with family and friends.
