William retired as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, a career that he loved. Some hobbies that brought him joy were playing the clarinet, listening to music, watching DVD’s and puzzles.
William is survived by the love of his life, Betty DeVane, to whom he was married to for 63 years. He is also survived by his children: David DeVane, Deanna DeVane and Debra (Gordon) Ecker. He is also survived by his sister, Mary Davison and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved and adored.
William will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved him.
Visitation for William will be Monday, October 10 2016 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial, 5950 South US Highway 1, Rockledge, FL with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00am, then entombment at Florida Memorial Gardens.
