The soul and spirit of William Griffin Jarvis traveled from the finite on Earth to the infinite in Heaven on October 11, 2023. Bill’s positive energy and joy inspired countless lives over his 63 years – most recently during a five-year battle with multiple myeloma. His love for Jesus, family and friends will live in our hearts – most importantly that of his beloved wife Tammy – who steadfastly stood by his side for over 40 years. Bill shared a life of love and compassion and always had a positive attitude no matter what he was going through at the time. Bill’s zest for enjoying life to the fullest was always on display – whether it was on a bicycle, in the gym, traveling and exploring parts unknown, or simply enjoying a good laugh with the ones he loved.
Anyone that knows Bill knows that his greatest memory he had was his trip to Europe this year. He could not wait to tell everyone about all the great memories he had on his trip. His smile would light up the room when he talked about Europe.
Bill was a PROUD husband, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, uncle and pup daddy to Ziggy and Taz.
No challenge kept him down. No struggle darkened his heart. No pressure overwhelmed him to the point of surrender. Bill stayed positive until the very end. His family and friends are honored to now carry that positivity in our hearts, minds, and souls from this point on. Every experience he shared he would say “I’m living the dream”, “good times, great memories”. Those words will help all the lives touched by Bill carry his legacy on.
We will celebrate Bill’s life on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 from 4pm-7pm at the Life Event Center at Florida Memorial in Rockledge, Florida.
We invite you to donate to the American Cancer Society in his honor, in place of sending flowers.
