Its has been an honor to know you Bill, no matter what life threw at you you always kept such a positive attitude and a smile on your face.  I always sat behind you in spin class, and could see some days were a struggle , you always rose to the challenge , with grace and a big smile.

The first time I saw Bill was a few years ago. My friend Lisa and I went to Manfred’s Spin Class, I recall, Bill, Jimmy I’m not sure who else we’re having a grand old time yelling about a football game that had to happened the night before.  Lisa and I thought you were all raving lunatics, and neither of us went back to that class for several years.!!! 

Bill you were always a shining light at the gym, your courage, throughout your MM journey was an inspiration to us all.

I know you are up in heaven taking as many spin classes as you like, you do not have to drive there so Im sure you have a margarita in your hand.

You were loved dear Bill by so many people, 
You will be greatly missed!

I am beyond blessed for the memories we have together that I will cherish forever. No matter what life threw at you, you remained positive and your faith in God never weakened. Thank you for always being there for me and always sharing your life advice to help guide me. I love you and miss you!

I first met Bill when he was a roommate of my father's in Merritt Island.  As long as we've known him, Bill was always happy and with his boisterous laugh you knew when he entered a room.  Everything and everyone just kind of lit up.  He lived life to the fullest and loved Tammy even more.  Family meant the world to him and the feeling's mutual. The world doesn't shine as much now you are gone,  but Heaven glows even brighter.  We love you.

To the most positive person I knew even in the roughest moments of life. You will be deeply missed here on earth.  Until we meet again. Love ya!

As a child, I was very shy and quiet, especially around people I didn't know. Because of that, visiting my father in the summers was challenging. I was often spending time with people that he and "his" family knew but I didn't. For me, Bill was different. He was so laid-back, down-to-earth, friendly, and approachable. I always felt comfortable around him and was always glad when we were going to visit him and Tammy. He was a truly wonderful and genuine person with a kind and generous soul. I will always remember and be grateful for his presence in my life.

One last funny story was we were on a Caribbean cruise and we were drinking and gambling and having a great time and Bill had probably lost about $100. Tammy was in charge of the cash and she wouldn’t give Bill any more money to which Bill said “no problem, I will go get a cash advance using my Visa gold card”. Even though he was three sheets to the wind when they told him there would be an 18% charge he sobered up real quick and said “I ain’t THAT drunk!”
I am thankful to have had him as part of my life and will look forward to going on a run with him and having a beer on the other side. As I finish writing this tears are flowing down my face and I miss my brother. God bless each and every one of us.

There are simply no words to describe my lifelong brother Bill. We grew up together and had hundreds and hundreds of great memories over the last 45 years. Bill always brought positive energy to everything he did and to everyone he touched. As I was reading posts on social media everybody was saying the exact same thing about this guy. Happy, funny, smiling, positive. I loved reading what everybody had to say about him. When we were in high school my brothers and I met Bill through Astronaut high school cross country and track teams and we really were family. Bill was over at our house all the time, and he was affectionately known as “Brother J”. I got my first education in fishtailing on dirt roads with Bill driving his grandma‘s Maverick with a “three on the tree”. Man, we laughed a lot. We would go to cross country team parties and high school dances and the one song that always made Bill go crazy on the Dancefloor was “Play that Funky Music White Boy.” I hope he is dancing in heaven, albeit with better moves than he had back then. When Bill and Tammy started dating we hung out all the time and no matter what we did it was always fun. Dinners, ballgames, going on ski trips, going on cruises, going to Frankies’s wings and things and ordering the hottest wings they had, and laughing about the pain they caused us. Bill was the most dedicated person to exercising and working out that I ever met. He loved running and when his knees would not cooperate he took up cycling and like everything else he did in life he gave it 100% and excelled at it. It was not unusual for him to go bike 80 miles on a Saturday morning in addition to spinning with all of his friends at the gym at 5:30 am during the week. The dude was a warrior, never complained, just adapted. Bill was committed to his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and he was not afraid of going to be with the Lord where he is now. One can only hope to have that same level of faith.

Cheers to you Bill! I hope you are riding your bike in heaven having margaritas and some lemon drops. Save some for me until we meet again. Love you 💕💕💕🚴🚴🚴🍻🍻🍻

Bill was a "one-of-a-kind" type of guy.  You couldn't help but love him.  For so many years when we would see each other he would always be caring and attentive.  I remember attending Tammy and Bill's wedding and what a beautiful couple that truly loved each other.  Their faith in our Lord is beyond measure and that is what gave them both the strength and courage to live life to the fullest.  Even though Bill is no longer with us, he will always be present in spirit and guaranteed he is smiling down on us right now.  Rest in peace Bill and see you again some day.

As your Mother (Margaret Jarvis), I have loved you with all my heart  from the moment you were conceived!    

I am so proud of you for the kind, considerate, thoughtful, and successful Man you became, always smiling, always treating all others with dignity and respect at all times, enjoying life, and the most important of all, Loving and Worshipping our Lord and Savior, and living by the Truth of the Bible!  

When you died, a piece of my Heart went with you!

I pray you are soaring with the Angels.  Until I see you again when I meet you in Heaven with open and loving arms, I dedicate this song to you — “The Wind Beneath My Wings!”

It is with a sad and heavy heart that we say goodbye to my best friend in High School and lifelong friend to Kathy and I.

Bill is with the Lord now with his trust and faith in Jesus Christ.

Bill and I were able to navigate the tricky social dynamics of High School by always having each other to rely and depend upon.

We spent hundreds of hours running, laughing and sharing together as part of the Astronaut Cross Country and Track teams. We built a bond together that would last a lifetime here on this earth. There were so many times that Bill and I would run 20 yards behind the lead pack of runners at practice so we could talk and laugh.  When Coach Gailey would holler at us to catch up, we would hold back the laughter and announce they were going too fast, which obviously was not the case, but we wanted to stay back and talk and have fun.

Fast forward a few years, Bill, Tammy, Kathy and I shared many memorable ski vacations, most notably to Snowshoe, West Virginia. We had many 16 hour all night driving trips to make sure we didn't miss any skiing opportunities. Some were through some tough snow conditions and we remember one trip where Bill was driving through the constant snowflakes coming at the windshield and announced " I am being mesmerized by the Snow Queen" and I better pay close attention.

Bill was also a big fan Shoney's back then and on another one of our all night trips to Snowshoe, Bill woke up as we stopped to eat very early in the morning and in a crabby manner announced, " I am not eating anywhere excpt for Shoney's - he looked out the window and with a big smile said " SHONEY'S" and we proceeded to have a great breakfast.

Bill always amazed us with his positivity and he stayed that way regardless of the circumstances.  

Bill may be gone from this present life, but we will see him again in a better place. He may be absent from the body but is present with the Lord 2 COR 5:8 and will have a glorified and rejuvenated body.
