William Carl McCombs, 59, of Cocoa, passed away July 28,2011, at home. William was born In Jacksonville, Florida on November 8, 1951. He served our country as an E6 Sergeant for the United States Army.
William is survived by his sister, Brenda (Tim) Heeke; brother, James (Soon) McCombs; daughter, Terra Akins; nieces, Michelle (Brian) Furlong and Laura (Larry) Owens; grandchildren; Kaylee, Aubrey, and Mason; great-nieces, Alyssa and Samantha; great-nephews, Austin, Trevor, and Matthew.
Carl was taken suddenly and too soon, but we have great peace that he is no longer in pain. We will miss him greatly.
Dad, I love you and will miss you every day. I know that I can no longer hear your voice. But, I know you are with me every day. Until we see you again, this is not good-bye only see you later.
There will be a graveside service on Saturday August 13, 2011 at 9:30 am at Florida Memorial Gardens.
Donations can be made to the American Heart Association in Memory of William Carl McCombs.
