Billy, Billy, Billy.....What a great guy and always one to get a good laugh....loved when he would visit our house at the holidays. He was the only one to eat my leftover Beef Wellington or when we would visit in MI and I would go running and he would honk on his way to work and tease me I wasn't going fast enough....lol.....will miss you !

I’ve tried three times to write this since the obituary came out and couldn’t make it through. So here we go. To know my uncle was to love him. He never met a stranger. If you had the blessing of knowing my uncle, you know how much he had an impact on everyone he met. My uncle used to say he wouldn’t eat ice because he thought it caused cancer. When I was little he used to joke with me that my nanny put boogers in the macaroni and cheese. He was always making me laugh. I remember watching him and my big brother do those model cars in my grandmas kitchen. He loved doing those. He was such a family man and he cared so much about his children. He was the BEST dad I knew!! Life is never going to be the same now that he’s gone. It breaks my heart I’ll never be able to have another conversation with him again, but I know he’s in heaven with papa bill looking down on us. I love you uncle billy and will miss you more than you know! Rest in heaven until we get there!

I worked with billy many years ago at SeaRay boats. He was a very nice respectful young man. So sorry his life was ended short here on planet earth.

Billy has been a fixture at ALL of our softball games for as long as I can remember - travelling all over Florida, and right here in Merritt Island. Our kids have grown up together on those same fields. We will miss those ridiculous softball chants to annoy and embarrass the girls, and I will miss all the snarky comments and jokes we made to pass the time at those all-day tournaments! Most of all, we will miss YOU, Billy. Rest in peace my friend. Love, Wendy and the kids

To Ann and Family,
I just wanted to say how truly sorry the Canham Family is for this loss. We all have such great memories of Billy growing up next door to your family. The Stephenson Family was an extension of our family in more ways than one. I can speak for all of us in saying we are truly shocked. I have thought of all of you often through the years. If there is anything that you need or anything that we can do to help you please let me know.

Love to all,
Helen (Canham) Dingess

Billy was always smiling and had the best laugh that I can still hear in my head from when we were kids. I’ll always remember running around playing tag behind the old Cocoa First Assembly. RIP Billy

Billy was one of “our” teens, who spent many a summer day hanging out with us at the beach. He even actually lived with us for a time in his later teens . Billy always had a smile for everyone. We will truly miss him. Our prays go out to his family. RIP Billy
