William D. Whitaker, 55, passed away on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at his residence. He was born on April 22, 1955 in Anchorage, Alaska. Bill was employed by Winn Dixie for 40 years and was a Store Director at the Malabar Store. Bill loved his Lord and Savior Jesus; he was an avid golfer and gardener. He is survived by his parents, Robert C. Whitaker and Dorothy B. Whitaker; sons, Matthew and David; brothers, Kevin, Robert, Michael and (Chuck Montini). The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Sunday, October 24 at Florida Memorial Funeral Home where a funeral service will begin at 10 am on Monday, October 25. Entombment will follow at Florida Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.
