Wilma R Vickers

Mrs. Vickers (Wilda Rae Cagle) was born in Dunlap, Tennessee on March 27, 1933. She married Army serviceman, Merrill D. (Vic) Vickers in 1950 and they enjoyed life together in Illinois, Florida, North Carolina, and on the road in their motor home over the 50 years of their marriage until Vic's death in 2000.

Wilma enjoyed her jobs as a bookkeeper and in retirement the couple spent time boating in Florida and cooling off at their riverside cabin near Franklin, North Carolina. She loved interior decorating and kept an elegant home, with a busy social life and many friends.

Wilma is survived by her son, Larry Vickers (Cyndy), daughter, Pam McCoy (Danny), granddaughter, Danielle McCoy, grandson, Benjamin Vickers, two great grandsons, one great grand daughter, her beloved Pomeranian, Roxy, and three of her seven siblings.

She will forever be remembered for her strong will, feisty spirit and love of all things glitz and glamour.

Visitation and Memorial Service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on Sunday, January 14, 2017 at Florida Memorial Gardens Life Event Center, 5950 South US Hwy 1, Rockledge, FL.
