Zella M. Woodruff

Born in Charleston, WV, she spent her formative years in Akron, Ohio. Zella met Thomas Woodruff and the two were married when Zella was 16. Together they cherished 44 years until his passing in 1999. Later in life, she found love again with Patrick Galbraith, sharing a joyous companionship for 17 years.

Zella dedicated her working years as a winder at Acopian until her well-earned retirement and in her downtime enjoyed going shopping.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength, survived by her daughters, Debi Lanum (Mike) of Port St. John, FL and Tami Jones (Jeff) of Melbourne, FL. Zella is also remembered by her grandkids Thomas and Greg Jones of Melbourne, FL and Casey Lanum (GG) of Orlando, FL, and her half sisters Charlotte and Wendy of Ohio.

Zella was a loving, kind soul and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

The family invites you to celebrate Zella's life with visiting hours taking place on Wednesday January 17, 2024 from 1-2PM with service starting at 2PM at The Life Event Center at Florida Memorial (5950 S US 1 Rockledge, FL 32955). Light refreshments will be available following the service.
