On Wednesday, July 11, 2012, HERMINE VIOLET VAZ of Silver Spring, MD. Born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, W.I. Devoted wife of the late Kenneth Vaz and beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Survived by four children, Ray Vaz (Eleanor), Elizabeth Kelly, Jeffery Vaz (June) and Charmaine Prusak; eight grandchildren, Bryan Kelly (Jennifer), Simone Vaz (John You), Nicole Vaz (Ian Patient), Sean Kelly, Kimberly Vaz (Kenneth Jacobsen), Kristen Prusak, Joseph and Zachary Vaz; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Horace Alexander (Renee); nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Services on Sunday, July 15, 11 a.m., at Judean Memorial Gardens Chapel, 16225 Batchellors Forest Rd., Olney, MD, followed by interment in Judean Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Montgomery Hospice Casey House, 6001 Muncaster Mill Rd., Rockville, MD.
