Sami Elie Totah, 66, of Potomac, passed away on December 26, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Annie Simonian Totah, respected father of Tamara, Nicole, Elliot and Karina Totah, eldest brother of Milo Totah, Frida Lailah, Jacqueline Lambez and Lola Laniado, and delighted grandfather of four. Sami was born in Damascus, Syria on December 28, 1945 to Elie and Fortunee Totah. He was a successful businessman, generous philanthropist and devoted leader of the Washington-area Sephardic Jewish community for over 40 years.
Sami’s funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, December 28, at Magen David Sephardic Congregation. Memorial donations may be made to the Magen David Sephardic Congregation (www.magendavidsephardic.org) or CurePSP (www.psp.org).
