Benjamin Stanley Goworowski of Bentonville and known to many as Mr. Gorski, passed away Wednesday, December 15, 2021. Ben was born February 5, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Alexander and Louise Walendziewicz Goworowski. He was also preceded by 2 sisters, Sophie Goworowski, Harriet McCann and her late husband Ken; 2 brothers, Steve (Lillian) Goworowski and Stanley Goworowski and his late wife Anna. Ben proudly served in the Army Air Corps during WWII before beginning a 35 year career with Walgreens managing stores in Memphis, Atlanta, and Miami before retirement. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and playing the horses but he loved the times shared with his family. Survivors include his loving wife of 54 years, Emily Babb Goworowski, numerous extended family members and dear friends. Private, family services will be held at a later date.
