He graduated from Rogers High School and attended college at the University of Arkansas. Benny worked as an industrial engineer at Daisy Manufacturing Co. He was actively involved in volunteering at the Rogers Adult Wellness Center and was a member of First Baptist Church in Rogers, Olive Street location. He is preceded in death by his wife, Lottie, and parents John Carroll and Willie Turentine, a sister Louise Legg, and brothers Tommie and James Turentine. He is survived by children Mark Turentine and wife Kim, Kelly Ball and husband Jeff, Vicki Finn and husband Derek, one brother, Kenneth Turentine, seven grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
