Survived by her children: Gene McMackin, Roy Hill, Peggy McGarrah and Mary Montgomery and siblings: Harold, Ruth and Pat. She also leaves her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Bessie's great granddaughter, Nevaeh Maxine Cooper was named for her.
