Billie Louise Kinyon, 89, of Centerton, Arkansas passed from this life into the arms of her Lord Jesus on Wednesday August 11, 2021 @ 2:05 am at her home surrounded by family. Billie was born on December 22, 1931 in Coffelt Community in Benton County, Arkansas to the late Rev. Melvin & Earlma Lee Coffelt. She graduated from Vaughn High School in 1949 and on June 2, 1949, married the love of her life, Sherman Wayne Kinyon.
Billie worked early on at Boon Brothers in Centerton and then later retired after 20+ years of service to Walmart Stores, Inc. As a faithful follower of Christ, her most important job was the service she provided to her church, and the love and support she gave to her entire family. At church, she served as a Sunday School teacher, church secretary, & many other roles. To her family, she served as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother tirelessly. Every Sunday after church, Billie would cook, and the family would come throughout the afternoon to eat and visit.
Billie is survived by 3 children, Sharon Barber and Sherman Eugene Kinyon, both of Centerton, AR, & Ronald (Diana) Kinyon of Siloam Springs, AR; along with 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Becky Thompson of Centerton, AR and Becky Kay Pierce of Anderson, MO; one brother, Melvin Coffelt of Centerton, AR. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Sherman Kinyon; Stepmother Jean Coffelt; and two brothers, Louie Coffelt, and William Coffelt.
A visitation will be held on Monday August 16, 2021, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church Centerton in Centerton, Arkansas. Celebration of life will be held the following day at 10 a.m. at First Baptist Church Centerton. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, Arkansas
