

Billie Melba Sypult Turner, 87, of Springdale went to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1925 in Bells, Tennessee to William and Golda Buckner Fuller.
She was married in 1945 to Robert Dean Sypult, and in 1987 to Harral Turner. She graduated from Ottawa Township High School (Illinois) in 1943 and completed registered nurse training at Ryburn-King Hospital. She and her husband owned and operated All Weather Air Conditioning in Rogers from 1965 to 1978. After working at St. Mary’s Hospital in Rogers, she retired from Springdale Memorial Hospital in 1987. She was baptized in Farmer City, Illinois in 1955 and was a long time member of Friendship Baptist Church in Springdale.
She enjoyed traveling, reading and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved serving others.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Arnold J. Niederer, her half-brother Arnold M. Niederer, son-in-law Dennis Williams, and both her husbands.
Survivors include her four children, Diane Sypult Williams Bowerman (Con), Judy Sypult, and Mike Sypult (Pam) of Rogers; and Stephen Sypult (Stephen Michael Shearer) and partner Michael Wickman of Minneapolis; 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren; and one half-brother William “Tiny” Fuller of Munford, Tennessee.
Visitation will be from 5-7pm Tuesday, January 29 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home in Rogers.
A celebration of her life will be at 2pm January 30 at Callison-Lough Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Sypult officiating, followed by burial at Tuck’s Chapel in Rogers.
Pallbearers will be Matt Canaday, David Sypult, Daniel Sypult, Nathan Sypult, Arnold F. Niederer, and Scott McCollum.
Memorials may be given to the Friendship Baptist Church of Springdale Building Fund or to Circle of Life Hospice.
