Billy Gene Rodgers, 79, of Rogers, Arkansas sadly departed this life on May 30, 2024. He was born on January 7, 1945 in Phoenix, Arizona to the late William Henry Rodgers and Blanch Jane (Miller). He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Billy married his wife, Charlotte, in 1964, and the two were happily married for 60 years. They raised two wonderful sons together, and Billy loved to spend time with his boys. He worked for Tyson for over 34 years as a construction engineer. He enjoyed his work and was a dedicated employee. Billy was a family man above all else, and he will be remembered for the impact he left on those who knew him. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by: his son, Bryan Rodgers; parents, William and Blanch Rodgers; siblings, Lynis Rodgers, Kenneth Rodgers, Wendall Rodgers, Judy-Ann Hadley, Peggy Marlow, and Betty Trotter.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Charlotte Rodgers of Rogers; son, Kendall Rodgers (Heather) of Bentonville; sister, Dorothy Johnson (Ed) of Cushing, OK; sister-in-law, Shirley Rodgers; and brother-in-law, Gary Hadley; grandchildren, Gavin Rodgers of Highlandville, MO, Kyle Rodgers, Holly Rodgers, Jackson Rodgers, and Cooper Rodgers, all of Bentonville; and two great-grandchildren, Charleigh Rodgers and Haddy Rodgers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6th at Rollins Funeral Home from 12:00-1:00pm, with service immediately to follow at 1:00pm. Burial to follow at Rogers Cemetery.
