Bobby Darrell Strout

Bobby Darrell Strout, 75, passed away on Sunday, September 6, 2026 following a sudden illness in Rogers, Arkansas. In that moment, Bobby entered into the arms of his dear Savior Jesus Christ, reunited at last with his beloved wife, Jeannie.

Bobby was born December 23, 1950 to Joe and Edith Strout in Melbourne, Arkansas. He was the youngest of a large family. He grew up in Rogers, Arkansas and attended Rogers High School. He was musically talented, playing Baritone in the Rogers High School Mounties Marching Band. He was also a proud member of the University of Arkansas Marching Razorback Band. Bobby worked in Rogers for many years in television sales and service.

He was a born again Christian and spent many years volunteering in church activities, including choir and the Royal Ambassadors, investing in students the Gospel of Christ and the work of missionaries at home and abroad. The proudest moment for both Bobby and Jeannie was the birth of their daughter April Strout of Garfield, Arkansas.

Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Jeannie, his parents, and all but two of his siblings. He is survived by his daughter April, his older sister Cassie Ramsey and his niece, Janie Campbell both of Altus, Arkansas. Bobby is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. His nieces from Jeannie's side of the family, Gracie and Bessie Maniscalco had a very special bond with their Uncle Bobby.

A memorial service will be held at the Garfield Church of Christ, 17320 Marshall St. Garfield Arkansas 72732 Monday evening, September 14th, at 6:00 PM.
