Brandon was born on December 20, 1945, in Beeville, Texas, to Thelma Clara Englehart and Brandon Vorpahl. His mother later married William Joslin, who lovingly adopted Brandon and raised him as his own. He graduated from high school in Texas in 1963 and soon after answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army. Brandon was deployed to Vietnam from 1964 to 1967. Following his military service, he attended North Louisiana University (formerly Northeast Louisiana College), where he studied aviation.
Brandon built a successful and respected career in the development of computer banking systems, working with several companies in the Dallas area. His intelligence, resourcefulness, and natural problem-solving abilities made him a valued colleague and leader. In 2005, he moved to Northwest Arkansas and accepted a management position with Assembled Products in Rogers, Arkansas. He retired in 2018, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and integrity in his professional life.
In 2017, Brandon married the love of his life, Billie Lynn (Hendren) Joslin. Together they built a life centered on faith, family, and adventure. Brandon had a deep love for the outdoors and embraced life with energy and enthusiasm. Whether he was playing tennis or golf, hiking scenic trails, kayaking peaceful waters, competing in a lively game of billiards, or tackling home improvement projects, he brought creativity, determination, and joy to everything he did.
Those who knew Brandon would describe him as intelligent and endlessly curious, always seeking knowledge and eager to learn something new. He had a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor, bringing laughter into every room he entered. He was kind, generous, and deeply loving — a man who found his greatest happiness in time spent with family and friends. His joyful spirit and adventurous heart will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Brandon is survived by his devoted wife, Billie Lynn Joslin; his children, Scot (Lisa) Hendren of Bentonville, Arkansas; Ryan Hendren of Tulsa, Oklahoma; Robert Brandon Joslin of Bella Vista, Arkansas; Nicole (Jason) Green of Bella Vista, Arkansas; and Brandon Scott (Mindee) Joslin of Arlington, Texas.
