Brett Alan Laster

Brett is survived by his partner, Dereck Bartlett, of the home, his parents, Donald and Kelly Laster of Avoca, Arkansas, his sister, Emily Bickerton and her husband, Codi, his niece, Leigha whom Brett thought hung the moon. Maternal grandmother, Delores Tyson Mick, a total of 13 aunts and uncles, and at last count, 75 cousins. Brett also leaves behind his best friend of 29 years, Sarah Harkey and her two children.

Brett is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Guy Mick, his paternal grandparents, Jerry Don Laster and Marilyn Redding Laster, one niece, Madison Bickerton.

Brett was an avid animal lover and always had a dog, cat, or even a duck or goat in the house, and sometimes a donkey on the porch screaming for a graham cracker. His last place of employment was at Dairy Queen in Lowell, Arkansas, he was attending medical school when Covid hit and he contracted it, he never recovered from the after affects of it and his heart decided it was time to go home to Jesus.
