Brooke Lynne “Cookie” Barnard, 28, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away on July 19, 2025, in her hometown of Rogers. Born on July 21, 1996, also in Rogers, Brooke brought joy and light to those around her from the very beginning.
A proud and accomplished student, Brooke earned multiple degrees from Bryant University. She completed her Associate’s degree as a Medical Assistant before going on to receive her Bachelor’s degree in Allied Health and Administration. Her academic journey culminated with a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Her dedication to education reflected her drive and determination to build a meaningful life for herself and her family.
At the heart of Brooke’s world was her beloved son, Tyler Barnard. Everything she did revolved around his happiness and well-being. She was his biggest supporter—cheering him on at every sporting event and band performance with unwavering pride and love. Her devotion to Tyler was evident in every aspect of her life; he was not only her son but also the center of her universe.
Brooke's love extended far beyond motherhood. She had a deep bond with her family and was a natural caretaker who gave selflessly to those she loved. Whether it was attending school programs or sporting events for her nieces and cousins or simply spending time playing games and watching movies with family, Brooke made sure everyone felt seen, supported, and cherished.
She is survived by her son, Tyler Barnard; her mother, Tessa Burkett; her father, Jason Barnard; her sister, Aubrea Putman; her paternal grandmother, Jean Pidcock; and maternal grandfather, Steve Burkett. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, John Barnard, and maternal grandmother, Annetta Yant.
Brooke lived life with an infectious energy that drew people to her. She loved traveling—especially when it meant seeing live music—and would go wherever necessary to attend concerts by artists like Alexandra Kay. Getting her nails done was one of the many ways she embraced self-care while staying true to her vibrant personality. Always social and constantly on the move, Brooke didn’t know the meaning of slowing down. Her humor, silliness, and boundless kindness left lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
