Carrie Lee Tyree, 90, of Rogers, passed away on December 15, 2020. She was born December 30, 1929, in Enola, Arkansas to Orville and Macie Lee Tisher. Carrie married her husband John Kenneth Tyree on August 15, 1948. They were happily married for 34 years until his death in December of 1982.
Carrie loved life, enjoyed cooking for her family, and making wedding cakes and baby quilts. She was always willing to help anyone she could and Loved her God Jehovah and His promises and blessings to come under His Kingdom. Carrie was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and attended congregation meetings at the New Hope Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Rogers until her health would not allow.
In addition to her husband and parents she is preceded in death by her son, Paul Wade Tyree, grandson, Patrick Lee Tyree, sister, Merle Fletcher, and brother, JD Tisher.
Carrie is survived by her children, Kenneth Lee Tyree (Deloris), Johnny Rae Tyree (Virginia), Vickie Munroe (Dan), and Tony Tyree (Quinetta); eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandson.
A virtual memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 9th, 2020 at 1:55 pm. Please contact a family member for details.
