I want to extend my sincere condolences to you and your family during this sad time.  You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I have known Cathy for most of my life, and she was truly the most sincere and selfless person I have ever known.  She would do anything for people and always asked about how others were doing, even when she going through so much herself.  The last time I saw her, she was barely awake, but when I walked into the room, she perked up, and said, "Hey, baby.  I love you.  How are the kiddos?"  Even then, as she lay in the hospital bed, she was asking about my family!  I will never forget that.   As I read through the comments from others, there are so many stories of how she impacted people's lives, simply by showing she cared.  She set a great example for me to aspire to.  Tonya, I love you like a sister.  I know how extremely hard this is for you, the girls and Tracy.  Know that I am here for you all.

I'm sorry for your lose to everyone in her family. Cathy was such a wonderful person and will be dearly missed by many. She's watching over us all and smiling down on us. Cathy I'll always miss you but your in a better place now. I Love You girl.

Cathy was such a beautiful person, inside and out. She always had a smile on her face and lived by "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all" but she always had something nice to say. She was the first person to greet me on my first day at the Call Center and was always so nice to everyone. I will truly miss her smile and her laugh. Heaven has gained an angel. Rest in peace Cathy. Tonya, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I went to school with your Mom, and have many fond memories of sleep-overs and riding horses with her when they lived in Hiwasse.  She was a lovely person and will be missed.

Tonya,I considered your mom to be one of my best friends. We lost touch over the years but reconnected about 18 months ago. I will never forget our visits and text messages. She was truely a beautiful lady inside and out. I will miss her but know we will reconnect again someday. Having just lost my mom my heart breaks for you as well. Keep the faith.

It was my pleasure to know Cathy if only for a little while.  I was impressed with her courage and strength when she was faced with life's greatest challenge.   Her smile was radiant and beautiful - an indication of the person inside.  Tonya, I know you'll miss your Mom.  I'm thankful Jesus "rescued" her - as you put it. We have known Cathy since 1984.  She was a huge part of our family for many years and a great friend.  We will miss her dearly. She always made us smile.  Cathy we Love You.

My days working with Cathy at Target were my best days. I have never meet anyone as sweet and caring as she was. Over that time we became really close friends and she was someone I really admired. I will always cherish the letter she wrote me telling me we would always be friends near or far when I moved. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.

Tonya, you know how much I will miss your mama.  Her winning smile and her expressions of concern and love for her fellow man remain etched in my memory.  The last thing she asked me was, "Are you feeling ok?"  Can you imagine, as she lay there in the hospital bed so sick, she asked ME if I was ok?  Then she said, "Bless your heart."  The Cathy I knew lives on each day in each of our hearts.  She is one special lady who enriched so many lives beyond our comprehension. I never had the honor to get to know Cathy. I met her briefly when I was transferred to the compliance team at the call center. She introduced herself, welcomed me aboard and offered her assistance. It was nice that she went out of her way to make me feel at ease. From what I heard, she was an outstanding human being. I wish I had met her sooner.

Tonya, it was a joy to know your mom. Cathy was so sweet, down to earth, and funny. The last time we talked about her cancer and life as she was moving into her new house she said, "I am going on, it is up to God how far I go on this earth or to heaven. It is in His hands." Then we talked about all the purses 31 had to offer.

I did not know this wonderful lady but I do know her daughter so I know she had to have been an amazing person to have raised such a wonderful person in Tonya.  I am looking forward to meeting her in person one day and I know she is looking down from a place with no more pain, sorrow, or tears.

When the newness of this loss has subsided, you will find comfort when you say something just like she did, or when you see an expression in your childrens' faces that remind you of her.  Your Mom may be gone from you now, but you will find her living on in the people you love the most.

I met Cathy when I started here almost 3 yrs ago. She always had a smile and never let on how bad things were. She's truly an inspiration to all. She will truly be missed.

Cathy would always come in to work in the morning and she would say to me how's my little partner in crime. I'm going to miss her dearly. She brightened my day. You could ask her how she is feeling and she would always say she is fine and you knew she wasn't. She didn't want to burden anyone with her issues is what she would say.  Cathy loved to make cinnamon rolls with her granddaughters, where I live there is this little store that sold really big cinnamon rolls they are huge. I bought her one and set it on her desk one morning and she came into work and seen it and she said I will share with you, I will give you half of it. On her break time she and the cinnamon roll went to the break room, 15 minutes later Cathy came back and the roll did not. She had such a guilty look on her face and she said Jen I really was going to share with you but it was really good so I kept on eating and before I knew it the roll was gone. Those are the times I'm going to remember about her she was very courage's, caring and loving. She thought the world of all her family and friends.

Cathy was always friendly, sweet, and tried to find the positive in everything! Even if she wasn't having a good day you would never really know because she always was so nice and had a smile on her face. She always thought of others before herself and constantly talked about her family and grandchildren and how much she loved them . I will miss her smile and our conversations. Knowing she is at peace now comforts me and i hope that will bring comfort to her family as well. She will be very very missed by her Walmart family and friends here at the Call Center .

I can honestly say that even though we had our trials at Walmart Cathy was always ready with a smile and an encouraging word.  She has been and will continue to be missed tremdously here at Walmart and in my personal life. I will truely miss Cathy.  She is such an example of pure Love.  She never said one bad thing about her pain, but was always concerned about everyone else.  When I came back from Knee replacement surgery, she was the first one to come and hug me and ask how I was feeling.  She always has a smile and funny things to say about everything.  Cathy is a trooper and strength in my life.

To her family, Cathy so loved her granddaughters, she always spoke of them and how happy they made her.  Our deepest heart felt sorrow for the tremendous loss for everyone.

Tonya, words cannot express my gratitude for having had the chance to know and work with your mother.  We sat next to each other for almost a year and a half.  I have heard many wonderful stories regarding you and your daughters.  And I want you to know that my son is extremely honored that you have chosen the Rogers Animal Shelter as one of the memorial gift recipients.  He has enjoyed the success of a truly great Eagle Scout project, much of which was made possible by the contributions and guidance of your mother.  I can truly say that we have a large void here at the Call Center due to your mother's passing.  Life here just won't be the same without her.
