Charlene R. Allen, 86, of Rogers, passed away at home on April 19, 2018. She was born in Arkansas City, Kansas on August 12, 1931 to the late Charles and Emma (Robinson) Tharp. She was the wife of the late Guy W. Allen.
She worked for Emerson Electric for 27 ½ years before retiring in 1997. She loved to go fishing, ceramics, sewing, auctions, listening to her gospel music and enjoying her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, son, parents, sister and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her 3 daughters, Deniece Barnett of Rogers, Carolyn Long of Bentonville, Pamela Gay and husband, Kenneth of Springdale; 2 brothers LeRoy Tharp and wife, Shirley of Kansas, Phillip Tharp and wife, Nancy of Washington; 9 grandkids, 20 great grandkids, 1 great grandchild and nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 5-7pm. A graveside service will be on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 1pm at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers.
