Cynthia Sue “Cyndi” Bilyeu, 47, of Rogers passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020. She was born March 18, 1973 in Austin, Texas to Nancy and the late Butch Blackstock. She was also preceded by her step-father, Richard Millsap; a sister and a nephew. Cyndi loved people and made a career of helping others. Through the years, she was an active volunteer with the American Heart Association, as a board member of Down Syndrome Connection and a member of the Rogers Rotary Club, among others. At her passing, she was the CEO of Sunshine School and Development Center in Rogers where she was renowned for slipping out of her office to spend time in the classrooms with “her kids”. Cyndi was formerly associated with Hope Cancer Resources and was a longtime member of First Christian Church of Rogers. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, reading and cherished the times spent with her husband and children. Everything had to be scheduled between Razorback football games and she would never miss a game! Survivors include her adoring husband of nearly 25 years, John Bilyeu; her children, Alexandria and Jacob Bilyeu, all of Rogers; her mother, Nancy Bloker (Bill) of Iowa; her step-mother, Patricia Blackstock of Texas; her sisters, Lori Henson (Wayne) of Oklahoma and Wendi Grazier ( Terry) of Fort Smith; her brothers, Jason Millsap (Raven), Randy Paul (Jennifer) and Glen Paul (Kim) all of Texas; numerous extended family members, her Sunshine School and church families, professional associates and dear friends. Visitation in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers is from 5:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Cyndi’s life will be celebrated with an outdoor Funeral Service at 10:00am, Thursday, July 23, 2020 at First Christian Church of Rogers, 905 S 13th St, Rogers.
