David Darling

David Lloyd George Darling, 59, passed away on September 5, 2017 in Bentonville. He was born on October 2, 1957 in Hutchinson, Kansas to Lester G. Darling and the late Sandra (Guinn) Pitts. He was the loving husband of 40 years to Jilinda (Carlson) Darling.

David was owner of Little Darlings Children’s Store for 18 years where he worked side by side with his family. His children and grandchildren meant the world to him and were the center of his universe.

David is survived by his wife of Bella Vista; son, Trenton (Natalie) Darling of Pea Ridge; daughters, Brynn (Eric) Colburn and Haylee (Tad) Meagher all of Bella Vista; brothers, Dallas (Beverly) Darling of Texas and Duane (Sherri) Darling of Kansas; father-in-law Ramon Carlson of Hesston, Kansas, brother-in law Verle (Sheryl) Carlson of Lyons, Kansas; sisters-in-law Pam Nanney (Greg) of Newton, Kansas and DeAnn (Nick) Gann of Bella Vista and 7 grandchildren, Hanna Hart, Gavin Colburn, Rylie and Hudson Darling, and Allyson, Hunter and Hayden Meagher.

He was preceded in death by a sister Debra Darling, step-mother Helen Darling, and mother-in-law Mary Lou Carlson.

A visitation will be on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 4 until 6 at the Neighborhood Church, 2003 NW Regional Airport Blvd, Suite 9. His memorial service will be on Saturday, September 9 at 10am at the church.
