Born November 12, 1942, son of a career Army officer, he had lived & traveled throughout the world.
Retired as a Master Sargeant in the Army after 27 years,
David had honorably served in Vietnam, & was active during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He was also an Alaskan State Trooper for several years,
& he had a lifelong passion for archeology, & outdoor activities.
David was a member of the Shawnee Tribe, based in Miami, Oklahoma. As a Veteran Gourd Dancer, he enjoyed participating in
Tri-State Native American programs.
He is survived by his father, brother, & two sisters, as well as two sons, four daughters, & six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas on October 26, 2010, 12-2 pm.
Burial services will follow at Rogers Cemetery.
