Deanna Rounds

Deanna L. Rounds, 58, died November 20, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center. She was born on August 28, 1953 in Rogers to the late Don H. and Josephine (Hays) Rakes of Rogers. She was the loving wife of 40 years to Mike Rounds.

Deanna was a homemaker who enjoyed fishing and watching dirt track racing. She graduated from Rogers High School in 1971.

She is survived by her mother, Jo; husband, Mike; daughter, Ashley and Brian Cogdill of Pea Ridge; brothers, (twin) Dennis and Karen Rakes and Alan and Kennita Rakes; sisters, Sharon and Billy Witcofski and Donna and Reid Fairchild, all of Rogers; grandson, Brysen Cogdill; father-in-law Clyde and step-mother-in-law, Mabel Rounds of Pea Ridge; mother-in-law, Murleen Rounds of Gentry; sister-in-law, Tammy Kinney of Gentry; brother-in-laws, Danny and Melanie Rounds of Pea Ridge, Jamie and Robin Rounds of Garfield, Greg Rounds of Pea Ridge; aunt, Jeanne Corn of Wichita, KS; uncles, Paul Hays of Rogers, Bert and Dee Hays of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at 10:00 in Hart Cemetery, Bentonville. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 pm in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel.
