Dominick Colonna

Dom was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Keansburg, NJ until retiring to Wildwood, Fl in 1998. Dom was a hardworking family man, who after serving our country in the United States Navy, worked as a butcher for ShopRite for 30 years. He loved fishing, playing cards and spending time with his children, grandchildren and many friends.

Dominick is predeceased by the love of his life, Margaret Colonna (2016), and his beloved son, Dominick Colonna (2018). He is survived by his loving children Laura Slank and her husband Joel, Joseph Colonna and his wife Michele, and daughter in law Mary Colonna; his seven cherished grandchildren: Kimberly(Whitney), Dominick, Rachel (Austin), Deena, Joseph, Nicholas, Kevin and his precious great grandson, Vincenzo. Dominick is also survived by his brother Joe Colonna, sister Francis (Bill) Spitz, brother-in-law Michael (Joan) Zaccheo, lifelong friends Sebastian & Marie DeMartini and many nieces and nephews. He will always be remembered as a “happy-happy” man, who loved his family beyond measure.
