Don Eugene Brick, 80, passed away on November 22, 2018 in Rogers, AR. He was born on July 18, 1938 in Fort Scott, KS to the late Leonard L. and Myra C. (Ellis) Brick. He was a wonderful husband who was married to the love of his life, Shirley (Thomas) Brick, for 57 years. Don was a successful entrepreneur, father, brother, and friend. He came from humble beginnings and worked hard to provide for his family. He had a way of putting everyone at ease and never met a stranger. Being a bit of a daredevil, Don loved hot rods, motorcycles, racing and flying. Don was a positive man and always lived life to the fullest. May he rest in peace knowing that he was deeply loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Marie Brown; and infant son, Ronald Brick. Don is survived by his wife, Shirley of Rogers; daughters, Linda McClelland (Mark) of Little Rock, Judy Brick-Arney (Ron) of Rogers, and Cindy Moser of Rogers; grandchildren, Megan Burks (Austin) and Matt McClelland (fiancée, Bridget King); great-grandson, Beckett Burks; and several nieces and nephews including Jerry Brown, Lisa Mills, Randy Goodwin and Gary Goodwin. A visitation will be on Monday, November 26, 2018 from 5pm until 7pm at Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. A Celebration of Life will be on Tuesday, November 27, at 11am at Rollins Chapel with a burial to follow at Benton County Memorial Park. Linda my condolences for the lost of your Dad. Having lost my Dad 9 years ago its still hurts. So be strong and know your friends are there for you and your family.

What I'd give, if I could say
“Hello Dad” in the same old way.
To hear his voice and see his smile,
to sit with him and chat for a while.
So if your Father is still here,
cherish him with care,
for you'll never know the heartache
until you see his empty chair.

we have lived next door to Don and Shirley for 34 years. Great neighbors always ready to help. I remember one time I had these two big wooden corner posts that I needed moved. Don came over with his big loader and lifted those posts right out of the ground. We will miss him, have missed him during his illness. always a wave and smile from Don.

I remember Don coming in and buying some of his vehicles from my Dad and one in particular from my brother. It was like a 84-ish light blue & white Silverado 1/2 ton 2wd. Don had it for a long time, I believe it had a Diesel fuel "transfer tank" in the bed because he used his personal truck as a work vehicle. It always looked good and always looked loaded down. Don was a wonderful person.
*That truck was always so loaded down and Don was a big guy. I still remember wondering why he and my brother didn't opt for a 3/4 ton 4wd. Don had that truck forever, always looked good.

Shirley, I have just read Don's obituary in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette newspaper, and wish to extend my condolences to you, Linda, Judy and Cindy--and all of your family--for the loss of your dear companion of 57 years. May the thoughts, prayers and actions of all who know you and your loved ones--and the promises of your Heavenly Father--continue to undergird everything you do now and in the future. Be strong and resolute, and allow time to bring a measure of healing and strength to all who loved and cherished the patriarch of the Brick family. Be sure that my thoughts and prayers reside with you and your loved ones!
