Doris A. Burrell, 73, died September 5, 2011 at her home in Carthage, MO. She was born March 26, 1938 to the late Asa and Agnes (Wight) Garrett. She was the loving wife of Loma Burrell of Carthage, MO, for 54 years.
Doris was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Carthage and loved to play the piano, cook and spend time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Howard Burrell of Frankfort, IN., Randy Burrell of Rogers, and Debbie Campbell of Rogers. She also leaves her sister Jean Brown of Lowell, 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Doris is preceded in death by her sister Mary Margaret Garrett, and two brothers, John F. Garrett and Carl D. Garrett.
A funeral service will be held Friday September 9, 2011 at 10:30 in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Elvis Dudley officiating. Burial to follow in Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5 until 7, September 8.
