Doug was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he lived for 30 years before moving to Arkansas.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Trickey, his daughter, Jenny Renfrow (Mike), his son, Craig (Amanda), and his step-son, Chris Trickey (Alyssa). He had three brothers; Mike (Lorraine), Dave, Jay (Tom), and sister, Sue Mead (Brad). He had numerous grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held in Kansas City at a later date this summer.
