

Dudley Roy Ives, 78, of Pea Ridge, Arkansas, passed away on December 6, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1947, in Aransas Pass, Texas, where he was raised. Dudley proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged on February 27, 1970.
Throughout his life, Dudley dedicated himself to public service in law enforcement. He began his career as a Police Officer with the Houston, Texas, Police Department. He later continued his service in New Braunfels, Texas, as both a Police Officer and a District Attorney Investigator. He retired in 2011 after a distinguished career as a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
Dudley was preceded in death by his father, Earl Emmett Ives; his mother, Johnelle Karel; and his stepfather, Everet Karel. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Patricia Araiza Ives of Pea Ridge; his brother, David Ives (Diane); his daughters, Elizabeth A. Fleming (Glen) and April J. Powers (Charlie); five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Interment with military honors will be held at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Thursday, December 11, at 12:30 p.m.
